I am 5'4 and it is a tall as me that is great for when you go to yoga you can use it as a mat as well a a towel. I think if you want to use it as a mat I would buy 2 of them so you're not putting your face on the one you are putting on the floor. I love all the different colors they have. This towel is really soft and lightweight. You could also you this towel as a regular towel for getting out of the shower at home or at the gym.
